It’s becoming rarer these days to find a drinker who likes only beer, or wine, or spirits. Eyeing these adventurous, cross-category drinkers, several larger beer companies have over the past few years rebranded as “beverage companies” to dip their toes into non-beer waters. But it’s not just for the biggest players—smaller breweries, too, are finding that distilling and canning so-called “ready-to-drink” cocktails (RTDs) fits in just fine with their ethos.
