Amid an ongoing surplus in the hop market, growers in the largest hop-producing regions cut back on acreage in 2024. The overall picture is more complex, however, with better weather in Europe leading to higher yields after the challenging 2023 harvest. Here, we plot 2024 acreage and production compared to the previous year, based on data from the International Hop Growers Convention.
